There was a soul, that healed my heart..
There was a girl, who made me laugh..
There was a mate, who once told me…
Come what may….we’ll never be apart…

She held my hand, and held it tight..
She was always there, to set things right..
She knew what to do, with the grumpy-me…
There was a girl, who cured my plight…

She taught me it’s okay, to open-up a bit..
She hauled me whenever, I messed-up it..
She loved and laughed, and made my day…
There was a girl, who always nailed it…

She told me it’s friendship, on her I can count..
I released my qualm, and my soul crept out..
We doted on it, and knew this would stay…
There was a girl, who enchanted the crowd…

Then things went wrong, and she turned paths..
She knows it’s tough, for me to start..
Even I don’t know what made her so…
There was a girl, who was never this harsh…

She must have heard, what I couldn’t say..
She must have felt, this in a way..
I’m sure she’ll come, and cuddle me hard…
There was a girl, who’d never turn away…
